Right after the installation of SpyShelter i have tested it with Anti Keylogger Tester (AKLT), some nasty malicious threats (Including Mebroot, Mebratix.B, PoisonIvy, TDSS and Trojan SpyEye) and also  with some known commercial Keyloggers which is designed to capture your Key Strokes,  Screen Shots, Web Cams and other confidential information.

After my thorough testing, you won’t beileve that it is able to detect ALL Keylogging, Webcam and Screenshot capture methods from different malicious threats (Mebroot, Mebratix.B, PoisonIvy, TDSS and Trojan SpyEye) as well as from commercial Key-Loggers. I have thrown everything  to get the infected computer system, but SpyShelter just kept on intercepting everything!

EVEN IF you accidentally allowed the injection, SpyShelter will IMMEDIATELY let you know when the intruder/software tries to enable Keylogging , Webcam Capture and Screen-Shot capture on your system. Trailing screen-shot is one of the good example of the same where i have allowed the injection of PoisonIvy and after that it tries to capture the Screen-Shot on my system, but here comes the SpyShelter which IMMEDIATELY prompted me to take action.

The only thing i have encountered with SpyShelter that it won’t able to detect Elite KeyLogger if its already installed in invisible mode on your computer system BUT SpyShelter managed to block all the activities of Elite KeyLogger which is really a plus point for SpyShelter. SpyShelter also includes a feature known as Virtual keyboard at logon, when enabled, a launch virtual keyboard button will be seen when the user logs on. It is the safest way to prevent your login account information from being logged.

System Requirements

SpyShelter works on Windows XP (32 and 64 bit), Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit) , and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). It does not work on Windows 95, 98 or ME, or on Mac operating systems.

Another important factor is the memory usage. In case you are worried about any possible slow down of your system then i would like to say that, you do not need to worry about slowing down your system. SpyShelter needs only a small amount of hardware and system resources. When you open it from system tray icon (notification area), SpyShelter would take up less than 18 Megs. Once you minimize it back to the tray, the memory usage automatically lowered down to 2.5 MB.
